Each beginning is also an ending. While you begin something, in that way you also end something.
All can be triggered by one decision-- can be a very small decision but your life changes from there.
Everyone is naturally fear of change, because it makes us feel uncertain and unsecured. But life with no change, as the sea without wave, as the sky without wind.
Fearing of change and then be frightening to take challenge is limiting the joy of life and limiting the scale of success.
Every big change in the era always turns out as a big opportunity. So no matter in life or in business, we shall be open to the change. It is not easy! But without ending something, we can not make a new start.

Emotion
I was used to think that every sucessful person must have a strong personality and wear the hard mask- as hard as steel. No one shall be allowed to see the soft part behind it. Why?-- because the softness is not part of success, it is part of weakness and part of human being.
But we can not change the fact- we are human, so we do have the same feeling same emotion that others have. As a manager, we shall try to understand the feeling of our staffs/colleagues, so in return, they will be closer to their managers and share the same feeling with their managers.
For a manager to show the feeling and emotion in working place is not disgrace, but shall be controlable.
Role model
Every one has his own role model-- can be the most closer one - from family; also can be the one very far to you- the one you got to know through history book.
Why we need role model? The one reason is it is lighting your way; you gain extra strength or faith by looking at your role model; and think and believe you will be closer or similar to him/her- your role model is the one you want to become or whose asset you want to be transferred to.
Is it possible that your manager or your boss also can be your role model?
My answer is YES. To be a good manager, he/she shall has the expectation that the staff shall be pride of their manager and might take him/her as their role model, and so more respect to their manager.The great respect is contributing in the couple relationship, and it also exists in good working relationship.
Are you ready to be a role model? Think of it and act on it.

Mouth and Ears
Mouth and ears, all 3 are important organs in the body.
Without mouth, you can not eat- no nutrition no digest and no life. With mouth, you can talk, talk and talk.
Without ears, you can not hear birds singing, noisy neighbors. In contrast, you can hear others ideas-- some inspire you and some you hate.
If we have to choose one, better to stand your ears and shut your month. It often happens when we talk, we never listen--don't listen to yourself and to others. Try one time to listen to your own presentation, your own speech, you will find mostly what you talk will be forgotten at once; the valuable part always can be summarized in few sentences, instead of few paragraphs.
So except we have to talk-- give a training or a speech (but still try to make it shorter and shorter), we shall spend more time to listen to others. Ears and brain are working more closely together than mouth and brain.
To be a good listener and it is benefit to your whole life.

Work with friends
For most people, they spent 8-9 hours per day working in the office. If calculating a person will work from 20 to 60-- 40 years in total, and in average we can live till 80, we will spend about 1/6 of total life in the office. This is something quite long.
If you cannot enjoy the time in the office, this can make you miserable--no happiness and no quality work. So it is really important to make yourself, your colleagues and your business partners enjoy working together. One easy way is to have a feeling and really to feel so-- working with everyone as working with friends. A business conference with partners--can feel as have a chat with friends over sea; a department meeting for setting up target-- can feel as playing the game goal with friends (we did play it when we were young.); a debating with colleagues-- can feel as similar as the training in the Mock court we did in school.
Thinking that you are working with friends and spending your time with friends, can make yourself and people around you enjoy the work; and you are really making more friends.

Attitude
By living and working in different countries, the biggest difference I can notice, apart from weather, is the attitude of people.
With negative attitude, people have less smile and less confidence in themselves; and turning everything in passive. With positive attitude, people feel nothing is frighten, and have endless courage and patience.
For individual, the attitude makes whom you are today and whom you will be tomorrow. For a country/a nation, the attitude in dominance becomes the symbol of the nation and more or less decides how the country is growing (or decaying). For a company... can we say the attitude that staffs share together finally forms the culture of company?
If yes, then every one in the company is an important element as we can have influence on others either with our bad attitude or good attitude. Thinking positive and acting active is the fundamental of a good attitude.

Life is not a competition
I am told life is not a competition. Life is to gain the experience and we shall enjoy it.
We usually act as solider, fighting for the goal--the life goal, which is no right or wrong. And the stress is coming along the whole time; we are angry with selves' mistake; criticize others; run for the time; push ourselves and persons around us. We make everyone so tired. Finally, we forget what we are up to, since we have been always looking forward; being afraid to be caught up.
The wealth and honor are not the meaning of life. What we can keep and convey to the next generation?-- Belief and experience.
To be the observer but not the fighter in the life. Make ourselves peaceful, and the same to our family and friends.
